You can now make 2-night reservations in all Vermont State Parks for the 2012 season!
Many parks have a 4-night minimum until March 1st to give people the chance to make longer reservations. After March 1st, all parks go to a 2-night minimum. So, if you can only get away for a weekend, you can now reserve at the park of your choice! Make your reservations today |

2011 Parks of the Year Announced!
Each year four parks, representing each geographical region in Vermont, are presented with the Park of the Year Award. The purpose of the program is to acknowledge exemplary accomplishments of the parks field staff, as well as for the enhancement of public service – to make the parks a better, more enjoyable place to recreate. Junior Ranger Program
Ages 4 and up can do fun activities to earn the Vermont State Parks Junior Ranger status! After completing the activity booklet, participants will receive a patch as well. Click here for more information and Good Luck!

Please don't bring firewood to the parks! In order to prevent the spread of invasive forest pests, we only permit firewood that comes from less than a fifty mile radius from the park.
