Melissa Maxfield is originally from beautiful Craftsbury Common, in the North East Kingdom of Vermont and currently resides in Burlington.  Melissa is heading into her last semester for her B.F.A. in Photography at Burlington College.  Melissa photographs with passion.   Nature, landscapes, street photography, urban and natural decay are amongst some of her subjects to photograph.  Melissa likes to find beauty in both life and death of all things whether it is a flower or a rusted part of a fence.  Melissa loves to use a macro lens for her old Nikkormat film camera, to get right up close and capture the detail of the subject.  Melissa also likes to spend time camping, hiking and canoeing.
