Jennifer King Minehart was born and raised in Southern Vermont. After high school moved to Burlington Vermont and attended Champlain College. Met her husband, Bryan, through mutual friends and have been together for 16 years, married for 6. She has always been drawn to the outdoors and the beauty of Vermont with all of its seasons.
Photography is one of the loves in her life. She loves to capture the moments that would otherwise go unremembered. She feels her talent for capturing the moment is truly a gift. She loves it that, because of her, special moments won’t be just be a fleeting memory; they’ll be forever recorded in a photograph.
When her son was born her passion for photography was transformed into a tool to capture time - or at least hold on to it. As we all watch our children grow, we sometimes catch little moments with them when they discover another part of their world. At the very moment in time that these events happen they are life changing. As the moments age into years, and these experiences become memories, those crisp feelings and emotions can soften. Through photography we seek to keep them young. Together we create a time capsule of life. As the years move on the moments remain young forever. Our children are so precious, and time is so fleeting - it is never as clear as it is when one becomes a parent. I want our children to know, without a doubt, that they are, and always have been, cherished.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take...
but by the number of moments that take our breath away
She is trying to get as much experience as she can in taking photos and putting these experiences into her portfolio. She hopes to some day use her gift and become a professional photographer.
She currently resides in Williston, Vermont with her husband, Bryan, her son, Tristan, “baby”, on the way, and their dog, Sirus.
