We’ll discuss the threats facing loons and much about their fascinating behaviors and amazing natural history. Hopefully, after the slideshow, we’ll be able to find a few loons on Lake Dunmore using binoculars and spotting scopes. Loons returned to nest on Lake Dunmore in 2007 after a nearly 100 year absence. The VLRP is a program of the Vermont Center for Ecostudies (VCE) and works cooperatively with the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department.
