Bringing your group to the Parks
Reservations for picnic pavilions and group campsites may be made up to eleven months in advance. If you are bringing a group to a park, whether or not you rent a pavilion, you will be asked to fill out a Group Use Agreement and to call the park at least two weeks in advance, to discuss details of your visit with the park ranger so that we may serve your group to the best of our ability.
Group Day Use Fees
$2.00 per person = groups of 25 or more, paid in one lump sum; $3.00 per person groups <25
$ .50 per person = K-12 school groups
Picnic pavilion rental fee is extra, ranging from free to $2,500. Most pavilions cost $100/day.
Free picnic pavilions Monday - Thursday: Allis, Ascutney, Bomoseen, Button Bay, Coolidge, DAR, Elmore, Emerald Lake, Jamaica, Maidstone, Molly Stark, Mt. Philo, Osmore Pond, Townshend, Underhill
Municipal & Commercial Groups
Municipal groups like local swimming instruction or recreation programs may also be eligible for additional discounts and arrangements through the issuance of a Special Use Permit.
Commercial groups are also welcome and will be permitted through a Commercial License.
