Internship Opportunities

 

Biking in Grand Isle

Interning with Vermont State Parks is a great way to gain on-the-job experience and a give back to the community.

We always have some interesting projects we're working on. We are looking for photography interns to go out into the parks and capture the variety of people and places, visitor experiences and facilities of Vermont State Parks

We are looking for tech interns to help us with web development, mobile applications, Google maps and Google Earth, photo processing, Flash applications, and others.

Photography & Videography Internships
Travel to Vermont State Parks, take digital photographs or videos of parks, campsites, visitors, recreational activities and more!  You set the schedule and can be involved as much or as little as you want.  And besides, you'll be helping out Vermont Parks.

This is an unpaid internship, but we can offer you perks such as free camping, day passes and fishing licenses.  You must provide your own camera equipment and transportation. 

This internship can be tied to an academic internship if desired. 

Web & Tech Internships
Help us with web development, flash applications, Google Maps, Google Earth, podcasts, mobile phone applications. Tailored to individual's goals and skills.

Self-Defined Internships

Smugglers Notch State Park Internship. (PG 5; $8.34/hour). Plans and executes visitor programming with a focus on the natural resources of Smugglers Notch. Performs the general day-to-day maintenance and operation of the park and assigned facilities when required. Position reports to Park Ranger. Twelve-week position June - August.
