Picnic Pavilions & Shelters

Picnic shelters and pavilions provide shelter from the elements and a common place for group gatherings.

Located in Vermont state parks throughout the state, you can reserve a picnic shelter for family reunions, group picnics, wedding receptions or any reason you can dream up where more is merrier.

Just like our state parks, each pavilion is in a unique setting and has something unique to offer.

There is a shelter fee in addition to day use fees. Most often group rates apply, and some shelters are even free to rent Monday - Thursday.

To make reservations, call 1-888-409-7579 Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. for dates 15 or more days in advance. Call the parks directly for dates 14 days or less in advance.
