Picnic pavilions provide shelter from the elements and a common place for group gatherings. Many have interesting histories from the Civilian Conservation Corps days when they were first built.
Located in Vermont State Parks throughout the state, picnic pavilions can be reserved for family reunions, group picnics, wedding receptions, or any reason you can dream up where more is merrier.
Just like our state parks, each pavilion is in a unique setting and has something different to offer.
Except for Kingsland Bay and Elmore, where park entry is included in whole building rental, your group will also pay a per person day use fee of $2/per person for 25 or more people; or $3/per person for under 25 people. This additional fee will need to be paid in one lump sum.
