Tutorial - Reservations

Step 1) Camping reminders

You will be asked to read through our basic camping rules. After reading, click on “Continue” button.

This is a screen shot of the camping policies and rules.  If you make a reservation you must read and understand the park rules before pushing the continue button at the bottom of the screen.   If you need assistance making a reservation please call 1-888-409-7579.

Step 2) Select the park and your dates

Select the State Park from the list.

Select the Season, Arrive date (first night of the reservation), and Stay (number of nights).
Click on the Pet question: Yes or No.

Then click on “Next ->Select Site” button.

Select a park, the season, arrival date, number of nights and if you plan to bring pets.  If you need assistance please call 1-888-409-7579.

 

Step 3) Select the campsite

Click on the box by the campsite(s) you wish to reserve.

“ Site name” is how the site is marked in the campground and on the park map.

“ Site type” includes: tent site (which includes trailers and RV’s), lean-to, and cabins.

“ Waterfront”: How the site is located in reference to a water body in the park: Waterfront, Walking, and Driving.

“ Sun/Shade” references if the site gets: lots of sun (Open), some Sun (Partial), or little Sun (Shaded).

“ Accommodates” lists the type or size of camping equipment that may fit on the site.

*You may select more than one site, but understand all sites must be for the same dates and will be billed to the same credit card at the payment stage.

At the bottom of the page, after you have selected your site, click on
“Next -> Review Reservation” button.

This screen shot has your arrive date, and Lenght of stay.  You select the type of site,  distance from waterfront, sun/shade and size or rv or tent that will be accomodated.  If you need assistance making a reservation please call 1-888-409-7579.

Step 4) Review Reservation and Login

Confirm that you have selected the correct park, dates and campsite.

Enter the number of campers that will stay on the site. Most sites permit up to eight campers. Children (0 to 3 yrs. of age) count towards the total number, but do not count in the fee calculations. You will be asked to confirm this when you check-in at the park.

Login

Enter your complete email address and enter your password. The password must be entered exactly as it was created. Upper/Lower case text counts.

Click on “Next -> Reserve site(s)” button.

*If this is your first time you will need to click on “I need to register” button.

*If you forget your password, click on “I forget my password” button.

This screen review you reservation information and asked for the number of campers, number of children and pets.   You register for the first time or, enter your user name and password or get your password sent to you if you forgot.  If you need assistance making a reservation please call 1-888-409-7579.

Step 5) Final review, customer information and credit card information

Confirm that the reservation is what you intend to reserve and notice the dollar amount that will be charged to your credit card.

Confirm that your customer data is correct.

If all the information is correct and you do wish to reserve this site then enter your credit card information. You will need to enter the name on the card, the card number (do not use spaces or dashes) and the expiration date.

Click on “Next -> Book Reservation” button.

On this screen you write in first name, last name, address 1, address 2, city , state, country, zip, phone and email.  You can change your password.  You can enter password information.  If you need assistance making a reservation please call 1-888-409-7579.

Step 6) Confirmation

A final confirmation will be displayed on your screen. We advise that you print a copy of this screen. You will receive a copy of this page at your email address.

Please hold on to your confirmation and bring it with you for your camping stay. When you check-in at the park for your stay, the Park Ranger will confirm the number of persons on your camp site, if you have a Pet, and give you more information to help you enjoy your visit to Vermont State Parks.
